The Organic Growth Grid is used to grow the Shadow Bio-Armour for ships like the Gemini-X class Strike Dreadnought. She has special sections devoted to special sections, like the hammer. The grids can be grouped together to increase surface area. These grids are completely automated by a laser information stream sent by the Pythagoras class Mobile Command Facility. She also employs the Millipede Manoeuvring Grid to keep her from falling into enemy hands.
